ARP head studs aremanufactured from stronger material (heat treated 8740 rated at 200,000 psi or proprietary ARP 2000 at 220,000 psi) providing extra clamping force. They're hex-broached for easy installation or removal. And they come with hardened, parallel machinedwashers for optimum load distribution.
