This is the main wiring that goes from the distributor to the T.I. amplifier box. It includes the resistance wire and the T.I. Conversion Kit.
The conversion kit is necessary to convert one of our new engine harnesses to accept this T.I. harnesses. If your car already has an engine harness that was factory-converted to accept the T.I. harnesses, and your harness has not been modified or repaired since, then you won't need to use the conversion kit. The conversion kit can be discarded or saved for possible future use.
NOTE: Transistorized ignition is a very specialized performance option that works well, when it works. When it doesn't, it can be very frustrating. From an originality standpoint, if your car was originally equipped with T.I. you would want to retain the T.I. system. If you are thinking of converting your car from OEM standard ignition to T.I. don't do it!
Electrical components are non-returnable parts. Always refer to a factory service manual when diagnosing engine service problems.
