If you own a late-model Corvette (1989 and newer) with a manual transmission, you've probably dealt with the annoying "skip-shift" (or Computer Aided Gear Selection) - the first-to-fourth gear change that sometime occurs when you mean to shift into second. While it's meant to improve fuel economy, did you really buy it to get great gas mileage? If you did, great! If not, we offer a Skip-Shift Eliminator, a plug-in piece that allows you to take complete control over shifting abilities.
What is Cags? It basically uses a solenoid in the transmission to force the first-to-fourth shift when you're calmly putting along at around 35% throttle or less and are between 15-21mph. Your engine's coolant temperature has to be greater than 171 degrees Fahrenheit for the system to kick in.
The eliminator is super easy to install, should take less than 30 minutes for the average gearhead, and includes instructions
