One of the most forgotten items in a brake job on your C4 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 Corvette is the parking brake cables. They look fine but they can be worn to a point the does not allow the parking brake to function as original. This stainless steel upgrade version is corrosion resistant and is ideal if you live up north where the salt the roads or if you live in or near coastal areas. While you are at it, it's good idea to replace them all. Your Corvette has a front and a right rear and left rear parking brake or emergency brake cable.
NOTE: Never leave your Corvette in just neutral or reverse, always set the parking brakes.
