- Produces Twice the Output of Stock Coil
Performance Distributors has just developed the hottest HEI Coil Kit made to date. The coil is remarkable in that it's capable of 7000 RPM's with 50,000 volts of Power! To back up the super high voltage spark, the coil is mated to a superior cap with bronze terminals and a special material rotor also with bronze terminals for maximum performance. Nylon rotor screws are supplied with the rotor to prevent misfire within the highly charged cap. These kits will fit all 1975-84 Corvettes and their installation does not alter factory timing nor affect the engine's computer.
Note: When using the Performance Distributor High Voltage Kit, stock ignition plug wires may not be adequate. We recommend use of Livewires, Moroso or Taylor High Performance Spark Plug Wires.
