These brackets weld on to the front lower edge of the transmission crossmember for 1968-1978.
These brackets were welded on to use a bracket that bolted to the crossmember for the transmission mount. The bracket was used on manual transmissions 3and 4 Speed and also automatics with turbo hydra 350.
They were not used on (THM 400) because it was longer and the transmission mount bolted on top of the crossmember.
