It's a little known fact, but maintaining proper fuel pressure is a key to reaching maximum engine performance. Too much pressure and the engine can run rich and have poor fuel economy. Too little pressure and power can drop off fast and a lean engine is prone to detonation whether you're using the stock regulator or an regulator. It's a good idea to constantly monitor fuel pressure. With the Fuel Pressure Gauge, it's easy. Simply thread the hose fitting of the gauge onto the fuel rail fitting, (it looks like a valve stem next to the fuel injection tube) and check the pressure. The easy to read gauge measures from 0-100 p.s.i. and will let your tune for powerful results on all 1985-99 Corvettes.
