However, despite eight-cylinder power being associated with those utilitarian vehicles, there remains a dedicated group exploiting such momentum in the form of Chevrolet’s greatest sports car.
Based in Calgary, Alberta, the Corvettes Unlimited Car Club is celebrating a milestone 50th anniversary as a social group united by the love of the Chevrolet Corvette. The non-profit organization touts itself as uniting Calgary car enthusiasts with every generation of the Corvette represented in the club member circle including a large contingent of C7 and C8 models. Corvettes Unlimited club members participate in an equally as diverse assortment of activities across Alberta and British Columbia. Ranging from leisurely show and shines to more active events such as slaloms or poker runs during warmer weather, the group also convenes for other social gatherings such as bowling, golfing and skating parties.
The Corvettes Unlimited Car Club proudly supports the city of Calgary and its surrounding areas with cruise nights as well as several charity events.
