The introduction of a rear independent suspension on the second generation (C2) version of the Chevrolet Corvette added a sense of handling and stability that the sports car had never experienced prior. In the maintenance and/or restoration of a second or third generation Chevrolet Corvette, this rear spring mount washer is positioned alongside the rear spring cushion that both attach to a rear spring end bolt.
